Works with the Executive Management and other Division Heads to influence the creation and communication of company strategy, business priorities and targets.
Generates ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting-edge strategy; maintains up to date knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends.
Constantly reviews financial data and supports the EVP and Regional Operation Managers in providing realistic input into the sales budgets.
Conducts local market study of related products and prepares marketing plan with up-to-date information of new product launches and recommends to the Selection Committee.
Participates in periodic product selection process with the Selection Committee and ensures timely coordination with the Procurement Department.
Keeps proactive relationship with all Suppliers in terms of selection and sourcing of products on time in coordination with the Procurement Deparment..
Coordinates and negotiates with the Suppliers to keep a very realistic Advertising and Marketing income.
Dedicate quality time with the operation teams and customers to understand and identify business critical issues to ensure proper business tactics and strategies.
Development, deployment, and implementation of new business strategy based on internal and external analysis, feedback from customer partners, and the annual integration commercial planning process
Develops realistic strategic direction based on category strategy, best practices from customers/account teams/distributors and analysis.
Provides strategic direction into the overall commercial plan using the planning processes on Category Strategies and Tactics
Develop route to market plan that captures more than 60 outlets
Design end to end commercial plan that incorporates - marketing plan, sales plan, shopper activation at point of purchase.
Analyze forecast accuracy, sales performance targets, meeting sales goals, segmentation / resource allocation, improving customer service.
Strong collaboration with the Suppliers and the Marketing Team for effective customer plans involving Category Strategy and effective Revenue Management.
Achieves operational targets within the assigned commercial spend budgets
Gathers input from Core and Develop customers on effectiveness of Category Strategies and strategic direction
Regularly produces and presents a range of financial/non-financial reports for the Executive Management and Board.
Participates in the preparation of business plan and proposals for existing and new businesses/ventures.
Development and implementation of the brand strategy.
Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products
Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, advertisement and PR.
Ensuring that the marketing objectives are discussed and implemented among the Suppliers specifying very realistic marketing contribution by the Suppliers.
Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.
Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social mediareputation and recognition.
