Job Purpose:
Determine sales function strategy and targets based on the sales plan
within an allocated channel.
Support the development of pricing strategy in conjunction with other
internal departments including Marketing and Purchasing.
Manage and utilize the sales department team members to achieve the
sales and collection targets.
Key Activities/Tasks/Duties:
Lead, manage, direct and develop the sales team.
Recruit, hire, supervise, performance manage, motivate and appraise the team members to deliver the sales department goals of sales and collection.
Set employees’ performance goals that are derived from the department’s KPI’s.
Provide necessary coaching to employees during the performance cycle.
Evaluate / appraise the employee’s performance periodically.
Set the employee’s development plans at the end of the performance cycle.
Provide guidance on sales approaches and standards, and lead the team’s capacity development.
Provide all necessary support to the sales department team and help resolve all issues and conflicts that may arise as a result of the day-to- day operations.
Manage meetings with department staff to distribute monthly tasks.
Provide leadership, expertise and professional advice to the Marketing Manager on sales matters to ensure business objectives are supported with the right sales strategy.
Develop and gain agreement to sales strategies, plans and budgets to support the implementation and realization of agreed corporate sales and collection objectives.
Help develop and gain agreement to marketing calendar by account in accordance to the customer marketing calendar and activity grid.
Negotiate and finalize annual Business Development Agreements with the Key Account customers within company guidelines.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer contracts & all related expenses or documentation.
Develop and make recommendations for sales team incentive plans to encourage and reward increased sales efforts and revenues.
Provide input and participates in the development of pricing, discount and marketing strategies in conjunction with Marketing, to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Provide high level direct sales support to team leaders and sales staff in order to create win-win business situations. Maintains own selected accounts requiring executive level consideration.
Manage the process of monitoring sales trends and competitor activity in order to determine effectiveness of sales plans and strategies. Makes necessary adjustments to maintain competitive advantage.
Submit all the required reports by management within deadlines
Prepare monthly detailed reports of all: rebates cost, opening fees, listing fees & marketing expenses by account.
Ensure that all team members project and protect the company image through high levels of personal presentation, displaying appropriate behaviors and keeping company vehicle clean and well maintained. This includes ensuring that all road laws and regulations are complied with and that driving habits are courteous and respectful.

المهارات
Essential:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field.
Advanced level of English language
10 years of sales experience with the last 3 years in a similar position.
Desirable:
Master of Business Administration (preferred in Marketing).
Experience in stationery sales and marketing.
