Quality Engineer - Cables Background

Preparing, maintaining, and updating quality test plans and work instructions whenever needed for implementing the required and defined tests as per TDS, customer requirements, and other technical standards.
Ensuring that all tests are fully understood and carried out in the right way by Inspectors as per quality test plans and work instructions.
Achieving and Following up the department K.P.I’s.
Fully supervised and managing day to day quality staff activities inside the testing area and providing daily, weekly and monthly reports to the quality manager.
Technical and administrative supervision of the Electrical lab tests, lagging, shipping and Samples required.
Identifying the electrical lab requirements from materials, tools, and new devices as well as update the old ones and ensure their efficiency.
Carry out analysis of non-conformity drums and cooperating production staff in identifying the root causes, corrective and preventive actions needed to prevent a recurrence.
Identifying and evaluating inspectors’ training needs and preparing training skill matrix in order to level-up their performance.
Continual improvement of test plans, method statement, and inspectors skills.
Ensuring that all test equipment is always functionally and calibrated.
Issuing cables test certifications and reviewing its results at different test stages and maintain its documentations.
Implementing and commitment of health and safety instructions as well as technical instructions.
Supporting and cooperating with the external parties and customers during their inspection and testing.
Ensure quality, health, and safety procedures are followed.
