Senior Wireless Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
The Sr. Wireless Network Engineer is responsible to operate and maintain the wireless infrastructure as well as working with the vendor/supplier during the project lifecycle to supervise the wireless site survey, prepare the high-level and low-level design documents, and to ensure the design and scope are followed during the implementation.

Technical skills:

 Excellent technical knowledge with the following Cisco products:

o Wireless LAN Controllers (WiSM, 5500, 8500)

o Wireless Control System (WCS)

o Wireless Service Module (WiSM)

o Outdoor & Indoor Lightweight Access Points (LWAP)

o Access Control Server (ACS) and ISE

o AirMagnet (Site Survey tool)

o Switches (6500, 4500, 3750, 3560, 2960) series.

 Must have excellent technical knowledge with the following technologies and protocols:

o Lightweight Extensible Authentication Protocol (LEAP)

o Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP)

o Quality of Service (QoS)

o Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP)

o Spanning Tree (MST)

o Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s Degree holder in an IT-related discipline.

 Required certifications: CCNP or CCIE Wireless

Experience

 A minimum of 7 years of professional experience of which at least 5 should have been spent in Cisco wireless networks.
