Projects Delivery:
Coordinate and support the implementation of the project’s deliverables by using project management tools and techniques in order to ensure successful implementation
Support the project manager through the project’s delivery lifecycle in order to determine objectives and priorities
Assist in the execution plan by quality checking the projects needs and progress versus the planed action to ensure requirements are meet based on SANS policy & procedure
Recognize resources needs and highlight it to the project manager in order to ensure project progress
Follow up on day-to-day operational aspects of complex projects and scope to ensure meeting SANS overall strategic objectives
Ensure implantation of SANS projects’ standards and methodology
Monitor projects’ performance against plans, assist in planning corrective actions effectively when required and maintain effective records
Ensure projects’ documentation are completed as per SANS policy and procedures
Support in enabling communications between departments, unites and external units
Risks & Issues Management:
Support in identifying, assessing and managing risks in conjunction with the project manager as per SANS policy & procedure
Assist in the development of the risk mitigation plans with the project manager and include the preventive measures are developed in a manner appropriate to the risk assessment
Analys issues and communicate to the project manager communicate to ensure corrective actions are being planned
Deploy scientific problem-solving methodology in conjunction with project manger and team to identify gaps and problem’s root cause
Communication:
Ensure that project manager and key stakeholder are updated by all project progress, possible risks and issues
Report on project progress periodically to all involved parties using a systemic approach to ensure sustainability of information therefore decisions and correction plans if needed
Relationship Management:
Actively build, manage and maintain positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders
Seek and provide feedback on the quality of service provided and address issues raised, achieving continual improvement in level and quality of service provided
Policies, Processes and Procedures:
Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
