الوصف الوظيفي 1. A team leader has to be 30 minutes early before the proceeding shift ends for a proper handover from the previous shift team leader. 2. Take attendance of team members (Permanent/Contracted Labor) assigned to the line he is leading. 3. All vacant positions due to absenteeism are to be reported to production management to proceed as per HR policies. 4. All team members are to be ready with their Safety/Hygienic gears or PPE (Personnel Protection Equipment). Employees that fail to abide by the safety rules/regulations are to be denied access to the production floor and to report to HR Department for discipline notifications if there is no official clear justification. 5. Permanent team members are to be assigned to key stations line machine/equipment operation (depending on personal capabilities). 6. All Skilled Jobs to be filled only with trained & qualified members /contractors, in case of urgency non trained employees should be under the direct supervision of a qualified person. 7. Lines to be checked for cleanliness and workability before starting production. 8. Once the team leader is in full charge of operation lines; he has to check line readiness for production in case the line is going to start up. During the shift running The team leader has to ensure a smooth operation of all lines through the shift time to ensure target achievement as set by the planned production schedule in terms of line capacity, utilization, and time frame. 1. All targets are to be deployed and understood by the various workstations on the line. 2. All operators, employees have to know beforehand their important contribution to achieve line collective targets by understanding the output of their respective workstations. 3. During the shift, all operators and employees have to perform their jobs/tasks they are assigned with safety and QA requirements. 4. It is crucially important that each workstation is properly set up against standards and performs as it is intended for. 5. At all times, the workstation should be kept clean and organized (5S Methodology) so that there is a positive atmosphere in the work environment. 6. All equipment, tools and other devices used on the production floor are to be kept in an optimal operational condition by down regular maintenance and calibration to ensure it is giving accurate readings and/or the output intended. 7. All broken down equipment are to be informed through proper channels like notification with repetitive follow and participation with Maintenance up to get back in operation in the shortest possible time. 8. During production interruption for any reason (breakdown, shortage of material, and the like) team leader should assign jobs for all production operators such as line equipment cleaning, rework/scrap collection, weighing and reutilization, workstations cleaning/organizing workplace through (AM/If Down Do) systems. 9. A team leader should minimize rework/scrap generation at each workstation to achieve production targets by taking care of product quality. 10. A team leader should ensure all required Standard/Log sheets are fully filled by operators accurately. 11. All team members are to stick to their workstation at all times except during breaks (Lunch, Dinner, and Prayer times) and the team leader should ensure fair allocation of these times among all team members. During breaks, a line leader should maintain the smooth operation of the line without any effect on product quality. Members who violate the timing limits are to be given written notices that will be kept on file for periodical performance appraisal. 12. During the shift, a team leader should track the performance of each workstation frequently to measure its respective output against the targets. 13. In case, there identify the reasons behind. Take the proper corrective action to bring back the process up to its target speed/output and minimize shortfalls in total production. 14. Team Leader to communicate any non-conformance during the shift to the QA Shift Supervisor/Inspector, and to work together on correction/corrective (where applicable). 15. Leads the Production team to engage effectively in TPM (If Down Do, AM, Kaizens, OPLS, Safety) and Process Control systems deployment and execution. At end of the shift At end of the shift The team leader at the end of the shift should: 1. Capture all Standard/Log sheets that were completed by each workstation and write down a shift performance report with accurate data. 2. While a summary of major events should be communicated at the end of the shift, urgent and emergency events should be reported on the spot to the handover operation leadership team. 3. Team leader should ensure that all workstations at the end of the shift cleaned and all scrap/rework if any cleared before handing it over to the next shift. 4. Team leader should ensure that all employees are to stay at their respective workstations till the following shift members are in place. Then proper handover per station is practiced. 5. In case of final shut down once the planned weekly/monthly production is completed or the line is to be handed over for format change and/ or breakdown, all equipment is to be deep cleaned and maintained as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s where applicable). 6. For the duration of the shutdown period, the team leader should provide a list of maintenance activities needed on the production lines and should follow up on the maintenance jobs during that period to ensure all job orders are completed. 7. After line shout down; all remaining Raw/Pack/Semi Product/ Finished Product material must be counted and packed in an orderly. 8. Whenever possible, the team leader is to deliver on-the-job training for all line employees whether permanent or new hires to maintain and improve line productivity. 9. The line leader is to recommend workable ideas on how to streamline the various operations on the line and improve productivity and processes via OPLS and Kaizens.
