Contribute to the creative development of projects and help ensure the highest quality of communications are produced to achieve team and department targets and standards and work to deliver high-value, effective communications. Supervise, directs, and control the sustainability activities within the organization including developing sustainability programs. Work on Marketing projects and campaigns to ensure continuous business value and positive progression towards corporate goals in line with the organizational key strategies.
Communication
Execute DP World JED communication plan in line with BU, Regional and Global requirements.
Assist in developing the internal and external stakeholder & Interface management plan to be used in exploiting opportunities for smart Marketing | Communication | Sustainability projects.
Execute the Internal Communication agenda that ensures employee engagement and recognition, enhancing productivity and value-added to the organization.
Manage Internal Communication Channels to optimize & ensure high reach of Internal Comms material, organizational initiatives, departmental achievements, and key projects.
Execute two-way communication channels with employees for feedback and suggestions.
Act as a central managing unit for the creation and distribution of Internal Communication content from higher management, departments, and external stakeholders to all staff or targeted groups.
Act as a brand guardian by ensuring proper adherence to corporate guidelines on all company Internal communications, collaterals, and corporate assets.
Execute Internal branding projects. Propose internal corporate assets that increase brand loyalty.
Assist in managing development, maintenance, and continuous updates to BU Corporate website.
Assist in managing development, maintenance, and continuous updates to the local SharePoint system.
Execute local Social Media channel plans. Provide continuous content calendars and community management approaches and investigate the appropriateness of Social Media Marketing.
Execute Digital Media plan and ensure best practices in terms of search engine optimization are being followed. Investigate the appropriateness of Search Engine Marketing.
Assist in creating a DP World Jeddah media scene-specific for Saudi Arabia.
Assist in developing a strong relationship with the local media to ensure proper publishing and penetration of key messages through KSA’s media channels and local communities.
Execute media training for executives, press conferences, media visits, and PR distribution management.
Always execute brand health checks and optimize reputation.
Provide a holistic, analytical, and systematic reporting of local Media insights and monitoring.
Assist execution of internal and external events by providing a unique and enriching experience to participants.
Marketing
Execute DP World JED Marketing plan in line with BU, Regional and Global requirements.
Manage and compile a list of services that DP World Jeddah offers and understand future smart trade service opportunities and how they can be positioned in the market.
Assist commercial department in benchmarking local services against other DP World business units globally to realize potential opportunities for the local market.
Assist in understanding and developing projects to enable smart trade and becoming a complete logistics solutions provider.
Assist in understanding and summarizing the Saudi Arabia Trade / Logistics industry.
Assisting in managing DP World’s DUBUY.com e-commerce platform Saudi Arabia launch and continuous business development. Assist in managing the launch of other selected business lines.
Monitor the Marketing Budget and spending. Work on collaborative marketing campaigns with Mawani (500K Joint Marketing Campaigns Contractual Commitment).
Create continuous industry competitive analysis. Understanding what competitors are doing, how to exploit gaps in their service offering, and positioning a truly differentiated service.
Execute marketing research studies to understand what our customers really need and what kind of services they seek.
Execute customer segmentation and market segmentation studies. Touch on pricing models and tariffs.
Execute a continuous agenda for communicating and solidifying ties with existing customers and opening opportunities for two-way dialogue with them.
Execute a continuous agenda for communicating with potential customers and developing service offerings based on industry insight, competitive advantages, and a tangible added value.
Execute events, exhibitions, conferences and get together with customers on regular basis to discuss and share industry insights. DP World Jeddah to be positioned and speak as an “Industry Expert” in those gatherings.
Execute Direct Marketing Communication campaigns with key revenue-generating stakeholders.
Distribute key marketing material to key customers and external stakeholders.
Execute monitoring and optimizing all communication with customers through current and future communication channels.
Sustainability
Act as the business unit sustainability focal point.
Organize and Manage all sustainability activities/initiatives in the Business Units as per a yearly sustainability strategy agenda and action plan approved by the CEO and regional sustainability lead.
Adopt and implement local initiatives around the regional and global sustainability key initiatives.
Develop the Sustainability budget – this includes working closely with the line manager, CEO, and CFO.
Monitor and manage the business unit Sustainability budget.
Create and manage a Sustainability Committee to review and agree on all the community projects.
Collaborate with reputable NGOs and key stakeholders such as Mawani, JIP, and relevant ministries on joint sustainability programs and initiatives.
Manage collaboration with Universities and Technical institutions for student internships, coop programs, and technical training programs to empower education and facilitate future job placements.
Research and benchmark DP World Jeddah’s sustainability agenda and projects against competitors and other businesses locally, regionally, and globally.
Leverage external communication, publicity, and media opportunities to cover major local sustainability initiatives.
Develop, implement, and monitor sustainability KPIs.
المهارات
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in a multi-national company is an advantage. Min 5 years of experience.
Strong proven record of leading & successful execution of Corporate Communications, sustainability (CSR), and Marketing projects
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic – Excellent corporate-level writing and speaking skills a must.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or related field.
Excellent knowledge in Digital and Social Media management.
Strong understanding of media relations and managing publicity projects.
Proven record in managing Internal Communication.
Good knowledge and practical event management experience.
Knowledge of corporate sustainability with a record in executing CSR and sustainability campaigns at the corporate level.
Understanding and experience in applying marketing concepts at the corporate level.
Basic skills in photography, videography, video editing and photoshop/illustrator software are a plus but not mandatory.
Strong project management skills.
Focused with a commitment to deliver in a timely and organized manner.
Ability to see the full project picture, break down work into tasks, and execute. Driven by results.
Strong Multi-tasking skills are essential.
