DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coaching, guiding and mentoring team to get the best.
Implement project management methodologies, industry best practices (for information & communication), evolving and proven best practices.
Enhance the execution skills of the team, discipline and drive to manage the successful completion of IT infrastructure projects within the organizations portfolio.
Implement project selection methods and risk analysis for major IT infrastructure projects.
Recommend best suitable technical infrastructure for project success.
Conduct vendor selection, price negotiation etc, for the required IT infrastructure.
Manage contracts and relationships to maximize value creation and costs for software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings
Define IT strategy and roadmap for up gradation to new technologies Align with organization business vision.
Keep manager up to date through presentation on infrastructure management, setting up communication links & implementing security policies.
Develop technical strategy, Capacity planning, Change Management, Availability, and Proactive service for infrastructure, connectivity and hardware components.
Developing SAP/ERP Infrastructure Architectures and Strategies, Technical Roadmaps, and Landscape Design Concepts with SAP Basis consultant
Manage 24*7 availability of business applications throughout the locations.
Data Centre Management – Data Integrity, back up and restoration tools and techniques
Manage the Data Centre and Cloud infrastructure.
Do the Assessment, recommend & prepare the Cloud migration plan and management.
Managing the DR Site and assure the Business continuity.
Manage AGM LAN/WAN and Other Network & communication devices throughout business sites.
Analyze vendor licensing models and cost scenarios of alternative options to determine optimal licensing and deployment strategies.
Knowledge and experience managing software audits
Knowledge and experience supporting an IT Asset Management Tool
Experience with software license renewal process
Experience with vendors including Microsoft, Adobe, SAP, IBM, HP and others to interpret software license agreements to determine necessary compliance with licensing metrics
IT Asset Procurement and Negotiation with Vendors for projects and Services.
Formulization & execution of IT policies & guidelines and ensure adherence.
Perform other tasks as assigned by IT Manager.

Communication and Working Relationship

Internal Relations: IT Consultant, Support Team

External Relations: vendors, consultant.

DECISION MAKING & AUTHORITY

Decisions related to Infrastructure expenditure of the company with respect to systems implementation, technical and human resources. Recommend budgets, objective for the year and policies & procedures for the Infrastructure function. Approve Infrastructure staff leaves, performance appraisals, resignation, trainings and other related activities.

MAJOR CHALLENGES

Ensure 24/7 connectivity to improve the user satisfaction index. Implementation of IT Infrastructure strategy, change management SLA’s and policies and procedures.

المهارات
The ideal candidate will have the following:

Recognized professional qualifications such as Bachelor in Computer Science.
Minimum 10 years’ relevant work experience in IT Technical Service Delivery & Mgmt.
Certification in Cisco and Microsoft/ AWS/Google Cloud.
Cloud exposures, strong handling, blade service.
Knowledge & Working Experience of ITIL Standards & Project Mgmt.
Experience in Data Centre Management. (In House & Cloud)
Expert knowledge of ERP Infrastructure, databases, operating systems, applications and servers
Good knowledge of Virtualisation technique, storage and enterprise servers.
Good Knowledge of routing and switching particularly Cisco based.
Good knowledge of Cloud data centre designing and management.
Technically Strong in routers and switches and Servers
Hands on Knowledge on Servers of Dell, HP or SUN infrastructure.
Hands on Knowledge on Azure/Google Cloud or AWS.
Good Understanding with Network architecture.
Good knowledge of Cross Applications Integration
Good knowledge of sizing for Hardware and Network requirement.
Good knowledge of HW Capacity Planning and life Cycle management
Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability.
Must possess customer oriented approach, ability to work with teams and business users.
Good English is a must. preferably good Arabic as well
