Job Title: Project Engineer

Reporting to: Operation Manager

Department:  Local Operations

Location: Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam

Tasks:

Support the Project Manager to ensure Safety, Health and Environmental requirements are implemented to the highest standards and are aligned to Linxon’s, and our Customers, governance / requirements.
Support the Project Manager with the overall responsibility for the management of large-scale, multimillion-pound projects, including commercial, technical & site construction responsibilities that achieve, or exceed performance targets.
Support the Project Manager with interface for allocated projects, ensuring the voice of the customer is heard and customer expectations are exceeded.
Work closely with the Project Manager and the support of the Supply Chain Function for the selection of subcontracted activities, plant and services, including negotiating the contract terms and conditions.
Strong Risk and Opportunity Management, both towards customers and the contracted supply chain partners / sub-contractors.
Ensure the highest Quality standards are upheld throughout the projects life cycle, ensuring project quality plans have been developed and implemented.
Work closely with the Project Manager for the appropriate use of technical- and human resources on the allocated projects.
Requirements:

Experience in Electrical Transmission projects, including Civil Construction.
Leading by example, your experience will demonstrate a strong leadership and interpersonal skills. This means that you are a strong negotiator, with an excellent ability to resolve issues, lead teams and work constructively to build positive customer relationships.
You get your messages across in a coherent and clear way and lead your projects with great confidence at its most difficult and challenging times.
A natural ability to take initiative and apply both creativity and perseverance whilst remaining compliant with of Linxon’s Code of Conduct.
As Project Engineer, you also need to be highly experienced in risk mitigation & opportunity management.
You are able to stay calm, even if unforeseen events threaten to disrupt your projects.
Your achievements are built upon a solid business and commercial mindset.
As an experienced Senior Project Engineer, you will have worked in complex projects, including resource allocations, recruitment and individual performance challenges.
It is preferred that you hold a Master or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or will be able to demonstrate some extensive years of experience delivering complex projects in the Transmission market.
A Project Management Certification, or a PMP certification, are also preferable additional qualifications.

You are curious by nature and have excellent communication skills.
