The basic function of this position is to ensure that the Cleaning and Collection Operations are executed in the best quality and within the set schedule and target.
Duties and responsibilities
• Monitors the activities he is responsible for (in Vehicles, Laborers and service), assigns work duties to subordinates and follows up on its completion as per the set guidelines and deadlines, to meet the set targets.
• Receives complaints and requests for special tasks from his manager, deals with them promptly, and reports findings accordingly.
• Implements the washing of containers as per the adopted schedule, replace damaged containers.
• Suggests modifications on routing plans (sweep and collection) and container distribution aiming to optimize the refuse collection processes, and for work improvement.
• Reviews his subordinates’ work progress reports, and raises a summary report to his manager, on a regular basis.
• Provides his manager on a regular basis, with manpower time sheets and requests his approval on overtime hours.
• Estimates needs in material and tools, avoiding any shortages, and gathers lists of needed material from his team for requisition issuance.
• Ensures that Laborers are properly handling all tools, equipment’s and resources given to them.
• Ensures the team’s abidance to safety and health instructions, making sure that all are wearing the required PPE. Informs Superior about possibility of accident or danger, updates subordinates on new safety instructions.
• Enhances customer satisfaction, through implementing quality standards, follows up on customers’ requests and complaints.
• Responsible for exercising due diligence towards the environment, health & safety of self & others in the organization.
• Responsible for complying with the applicable HSE procedures, instructions, requirements, laws, regulations from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies and those applicable to his/her job requirements.
• Responsible for reporting to his/her superiors’ occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect the environment, health, safety and company reputation.
• Performs other tasks as per request.

This position requires minimum a High School Certificate and 1 to 3 years of work experience in related field.

• Ability to work under harsh conditions.
Basic work relations
• Works closely with the Operations Manager in order to keep him updated on various issues related to the assigned Project.
• Works closely with his subordinates to monitor job assignments, agree on schedules and resolve the section’s related problems.
