About the Position:
§ Provide technical support for all phases of plant operation, detailed trouble shooting and installation support for all types of maintenance/reliability activities including procedure development. Provides continued implantation and leadership of progressive integrated RCM, overall mechanical integrity and improvement process at SAHARA. Shall be responsible for driving the improvement of the plant electrical reliability and championing the continued move from reactive to proactive maintenance.
Major Duties/ Responsibilities:
§ criticality assessment of critical electrical systems and equipment
§ solve bad Actor of critical electrical systems /equipment
§ establish online and offline continues condition monitoring and healthiness programs with KPI and issue reports
§ review and ensure critical spare parts availability for critical electrical equipment
§ conduct RCM on critical electrical systems and support other systems studies as subject matter expert
§ PM review and PM scope development of critical equipment
§ TAM scope preparation and field supervision on critical electrical systems and equipment
§ support maintenance and operation for troubleshooting and rectifying electrical systems
§ conduct RCA analysis on electrical system failures and tracking the recommendations
§ conduct FAT,SAT and outside workshop inspection
§ establish proactive maintenance strategies and ensure implementation and tracking
§ review reliability and maintainability of new projects
§ ensure the site is in compliance with local and international code and standards of electrical safety
§ coordinate with SCECO and other outside party
§ monitor and optimize the power consumption
§ Support in weekly/monthly/yearly department reports & budget preparation
§ cathodic protection monitoring
§ Carries out electrical feasibility studies to examine long-term plant enhancement opportunities.
§ Work with other engineers in the department in conducting the plant studies (PSR) on plant performance, problems and provides modification package and cost estimates.
§ Prepares engineering/design packages for Management of Change (MOC) in his discipline area.
§ Ensure the optimum PM/PDM/Inspection required for all plant assets in SAP and work process.
Communications & Working Relationships
Internal:
§ Maintenance, Operation, Engineering & project services, Process.
§ Frequent contacts with level of section head to provide Electrical engineering information on the reliability engineering activities.
External:
§ Vendors, Equipment suppliers, contractors, Saudi electrical utilities
المهارات
About the Candidate:
§ Min. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or equivalent.
§ Minimum 10 years’ experience in petrochemical plant or refinery or continues process plant
§ On hand experience in operation & Maintenance of substation, switching operations.
§ Maintenance of Generators, Transformers, Switchgears, MCCs, MV/LV VFDs, etc.
§ Thorough knowledge of RCM/RBI Methodology.
§ Advanced knowledge of failure mechanism, corrective & preventive mechanism.
§ Ability to work on several incidents simultaneously.
§ Advanced communication skills.
