Responsibility for determining the accurate man & equipment hour calculation for each activity & cost calculation for the same. Determining for other cost like materials, consumables, subcontracting, facility, operation and financial cost. Coordinating with other department to collect inputs for cost estimation.
Responsibility for evaluating and compiling the other discipline estimate if required for the tender.
1. Study scope of work and tender documents and understand the exact requirement for the estimation.
2. Arrange, attend the job ex. Meeting and site visit and prepare the detailed report.
3. Prepare clarification and send to client and attend clarification meeting if required.
4. Study the drawings, bulletins and clarifications. Prepare BOQ if required.
5. Coordinate with other department to get the required details for estimation.
6. Launch RFQ for materials, vendors and subcontractor to get quote. Make technical and commercial evaluation to select the materials.
7. Identify the activities and duration of work for the estimation.
8. Prepare the tender cost estimation such as direct man-hour calculation based on productivity, materials, consumables, equipment, non –manuals, temporary facilities, and other indirect costs.
9. Prepare detailed estimation and submit to management for approval.
10. Prepare priced BOQ and document required and submit to client.
11. Prepare and submit the post bid clarifications required by the client.
Prepare and submit the cost analysis report to management.
