Contract Compliance Specialist

الوصف الوظيفي
a.  Duties & Responsibilities:

i.  Contract Compliance

· Oversees vendor contracts activity in order to ensure compliance with company policy.

· Attends pre-bid openings to ensure that compliance obligations are understood prior to submission of

· Bid

· Monitors contractor expenditure activities to ensure that appropriate compensation is paid to contractor’s employees and also ensure costs are appropriated correctly

· Performs systems and internal control reviews of the contract administration to ensure controls are in place to properly monitor various contracts prior to external auditors conducting reviews.

· Conducts meetings with contractors along with his counterparts to resolve major complaints to ensure efficient and effective resolution of issues.

· Coordinates a variety of contract administration activities, including the preparation and management of rate and cost adjustments, time extensions, change orders, stop work orders, progress payments, final payment, and contract close out

ii.  Capex & AFE

· Assist FP & A Supervisor in establishing the capex for the company.

· Assist FP & A Supervisor in coordinating meeting with operation and other departments to establish the capex.

· Assist FP & A Supervisor in initiating, monitoring and closing out the AFE’s.

· Assist FP & A Supervisor in maintaining capex and AFE log.

· Assist FP & A Supervisor in Capex and AFE analysis.

iii.  Other

· Assist with/coordinate special projects as needed

المهارات
I.  CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS

a.  Experience:

· 2 years or more in Contract Compliance or Finance, Accounting or related field

· Oracle experience is highly desirable.

· Experience in drilling/oilfield service industry preferred

· Multinational business familiarity highly recommended

b.  Education and Training:

· University degree, preferably in business/accounting

· Fluency in English & Arabic

c.  Personal Attributes:

· Motivated, energetic, self-starter, take control

· Uncompromising ethics, Strong communication and organizational skills

· Strong analytical skills and accounting technical knowledge

· Ability to work well with people at all levels and from multiple cultures
