Lead Architectural Engineer

*Bid Preparation
-Studies bidding documents and highlight major areas of potential future discrepancies as well as areas of potential anticipated design difficulties
-Evaluates and concurs on the Deliverables List as well as the Man - hours prepared. Coordinates with the Senior Architect and the Department Manager on the number of man - hours considered
-Develops with the Senior Architect the list of clarifications that will be integrated into the Bid documents. Discusses with the Department Manage the proposed list and obtains concurrence
Project Staffing
-Assesses for each Project the staffing level required. Coordinates with the Department Manager staffing requirements and recruitment when required
-Studies - together with the Senior Architect and the Department Manager - availability of the staff during the Project cycle and tally with the established Vacation Schedule and other on - going projects
-Requests from the Department Manager personnel allocation as identified by the Project requirements

*Design
-Acts as Lead Project Architect for the Project and provide the required architectural design input including concept, project proposal and detailed design
-Directs and evaluates the establishment of the Project Concepts and evaluate aesthetics and architectural solutions Discuss and have approval on these issues by the Department Manager and the Senior Architect
-Prepares Code study and incorporates into the design
-Supervises and approves planning, coordination & supervision of the production of all the documents for the project
-Monitors concurrence of the project estimated man - hours with the effective man - hours being spent. Provide corrective action in case of slippage
-Interfaces and coordinates with the Company assigned Project Manager on the Project
-Interfaces with the Company Project and Document Control Departments and follows up instated procedures
-Interfaces with Client and incorporates Client specific requirements into the Design
-Attends interdepartmental coordination meetings required for interfacing with other disciplines
-Reviews the Project DBSP (Design Basis Scoping Paper) or the Project Scope, Basis of Design & Project Execution Plan (PEP) as well as all Client provided data. Highlight areas of conflict or potential problems in the provided documents
-Coordinates with all disciplines (as necessary) in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensure that other disciplines input are incorporated
-Prepares the Construction Specifications and S-cope of Work based on input from the Architectural Project Team
-Organizes site visits, and Client coordination -meetings with the responsible Project Manager
-Overviews and directs 3D presentation quality being prepared for the Projects by the Visual Presentation Team
-Ability to perform all architectural works and activities for projects requiring one architect

*Quality Implementation
-Overviews implementation of the quality procedures within the Project team members
-Follows up non - compliance corrective actions and lessons learnt records and fulfills quality obligations as required

*Construction Assistance
-Oversees preparation of datasheets and specifications as well as scope of work as required during Construction
-Highlights on the documentation received from site problems or possible conflicts with other disciplines

*Administrative Procedures
-Keeps up with electronic and hardcopies of all code and standards related to Architectural Design. Files those applicable to the Project
-Updates and keeps track of available libraries and documentation required for the Project as well as the software resources

المهارات
-Registration with Saudi Council of Engineers (Consultant degree)
-Chartered Architect and member of appropriate engineering institution (i.e.: AIA, NCARB, RA, etc.)
-Professional Degree in Architecture or a Master of Architecture
-Expert in IBC and SBC implementations and requirements
-LEED certificate is a Plus
-Expert in SAUDI ARAMCO Standards
-Good Experience in SABIC Standards

-Candidates available on Local Sponsorship Transfers are preferred
