Lead Environmental Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
-Management and delivery of ESIA’s across a range of sectors; primarily in the oil and gas sector
-Demonstrate and maintain competency in a diverse set of international environmental regulations and guidelines
-Develops and establishes key client relationships
-Prepare proposals in response to client opportunities, including technical scope of work, pricing and support of commercial terms
-Prepares project execution plans, HSE plans, and schedule
-Attend clients and regulators meetings
-Projects management including client communications, achieving expected project financial and technical results and team / schedule / task coordination
-Conduct complex engineering or scientific assessment within at least one key subject matter area
-Prepare / review technical reports, in whole or in part, in key subject matter areas
-Demonstrate technical competency in a combination of areas including site remediation, environmental planning & permitting or environmental compliance
-Assists in subcontractor procurement, coordination and management
-Conducts oversight of subcontractors, including drillers (direct push, sonic, and hollow stem auger), remediation contractors, emergency response contractors, and off - shore contractors
-Motivate, train, coach and mentor subordinate staff assigned to his / her tasks or projects
-The position may entail approximately 80% office work and 20% field work on a variety of projects primarily for industrial and commercial clients
-Responsible for project controls on the assigned projects including developing contracts with subcontractors, monitoring the progress of the tasks / milestones, invoicing, payments, extra work, and customers satisfaction

المهارات
-BS degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Sciences
-MS degree in Environmental Engineering / Sciences or related engineering field
-Minimum of 10 years’ experience predominantly working in the Middle East
-A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience
-Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and organizational abilities
-Willingness and ability to interact with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, clients and develop effective teamwork relationships
-Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required
-Must pass drug test, entrance physical and background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy
-Driving license
