Technical Professional (Process)

Job Description and Requirements
Has experience in the hydrocarbon processing/utilities units, the oil/gas industry or refinery project/process industries
Has demonstrated knowledge in the refinery processes and project development, demonstrated experience in the project cycle, review processes, Hazops, design practices, simulations, heat and material balances development, process unit design, equipment design, hydraulic design / calculations, and experience in using design tools, guides, project codes and specifications
Has experience in the development of PFD’s, P&IDs;and all work related to project calculations and documentation development
Demonstrates ability to work effectively and deliver requirements in a timely manner
Demonstrates ability to work with others
Experience sizing relief valves and control valves
Experience in sizing equipment
Experience with industry standards
Assist / prepare process simulations
Assist / prepare PFD’s with HandWB’s
Assist / prepare P&ID;’s
Perform hydraulic calculations
Assist / prepare process equipment data sheets
Assist / prepare instrument process data sheets
Assist / prepare relief calculations and PSV process data
Prepare process data for line lists
Assist / prepare process descriptions and/or study reports
To assist in maintaining the departmental quality systems

05 Years’ Experience
Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent
Occasional field visits, climbing stairs, ladders and lifting up to 25 lbs
Potential visits to offshore sites (helicopter, boat)
