Procurement Specialist

الوصف الوظيفي
Our client, a building technology provider, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist for their eastern province operations

Key Responsibilities:
1.  Procuring goods and services for the best value for money and considering lead times and critical areas of supply.
2.  Ability to use international trade portals
3.  Exposure to international trade and suppliers especially China.
4.  Bidding, offers’ analysis, negotiation with vendors and contract management.
5.  Understanding and keeping up with new trends and regulations in the business.
6.  Ability to use simple ERP systems.
7.  Hands-on knowledge of customs exemptions, customs duty refund process.
8.  Managing the logistics and shipping operations and assuring smooth and on-time deliveries whether sea, air or inland transport.
9.  Daily interaction with shipping agencies, customs brokers and suppliers to assure that deliveries are on track.
10.  Managing the distribution of the company products to different customers locally & internationally especially inland transportation.
11.  Following up on payments to company’s vendors through different payment terms including L/Cs, CAD, etc…
12.  Assuring that the procurement process is running smoothly through daily follow up on the ongoing activities.
13.  Managing the receiving and issuing of the material to & from the warehouse.
14.  Assuring adequate stock levels and looking after MIN/MAX levels.
15.  Reporting the stock status to concerned departments and having daily/weekly meetings to assure that material stocks are maintained at agreed levels.
16.  Reporting to higher management and attending daily and weekly meetings on a regular basis.
17.  Ability to manage and replenish petty cash.
المهارات
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Engineering / Commerce or equivalent.
•10-15 years’ experience in procurement and logistics is a must.
•Detailed understanding of the relevant supply chain process.
•Strong background in supply management and cost optimization.
•Perfect reporting skills.
