Our Real Estate client specializing in residential and commercial projects is seeking a target driven and highly organized Supply Chain Manager to deliver optimum quality, performance and cost-effectiveness.  Based in Khobar, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the Procurement, Contracts Management, and warehouses sections.

Develop and execute supply chain strategies across all channels of purchasing. Evaluate and manage every aspect of the supply chain process and mitigate any possible risks to ideal efficiency. Develop and implement policies and procedures that will assist the company to reduce overall costs while increasing productivity. Keep abreast of new trends, regulations, and technologies and lead the innovation on cost savings to create a competitive advantage for the company.
Identify the critical materials and services required to support company strategies in key performance areas, particularly during new product development.
Develop supply options and contingency plans that support company plans.
Act as the central point of contact for all communications related to the supply chain. This includes the development, implementation, communication of standard policies, processes and procedures, best practice and compliance, progress reporting and issue resolution.
Foster and manage key supplier relationships to create short and long term value for the company.
Develop integrated supply chain strategies that support organizational strategies and goals
Provide leadership in the deployment of strategic supply chain levers and techniques.
Analyze business trends and markets and ensure the company achieves the greatest value without compromising quality.
Monitor supply markets and trends and interpret the impact of these trends on company strategies.
Identify the critical materials and services required to support company strategies in key performance areas, particularly during new product development.
Develop supply options and contingency plans that support company plans
Develop, implement and monitor the process of sourcing, evaluating, selection and contracting of suppliers.
Manage the supplier database ensuring accurate supplier data and records and act as the primary contact with external suppliers.
Monitor & control the procurement expenditure/costs against the budget for the financial year.
Monitor the procurement spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Give guidance for the sign off expenditure or obtain approval.
Develop, track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Develop analytics, systems, and data management capabilities, including reporting tools
المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
Ideally additional supply chain certifications (e.g. CIPS or NEVI) •
10 years Supply Chain experience in the Construction industry of which 5 years should be at the Senior level with tangible bottom-line impact.
Experience in procurement, contract management, and warehousing.
Excellent Planning and Organizational Skills
Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.
Project management
Sound Technical understanding.
Cost Accounting skills.
Understanding of e-business/e-procurement systems.
Troubleshooting, problem-solving. Understanding of cross-cultural/global issues.
Business ethics.
Ability to understand financial statements.
