1. Supervise the day to day operations of the Gurkan Sef Steakhouse to ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous service and report any issues to General Manager/Franchisee.
2. Analyze on an ongoing basis the following:
• Quality level of production
• Guest satisfaction
• Merchandising
• Sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene
3. Establish and maintain effective employee relation
4. Ensure personal grooming and hygiene of the employees are to the required standard
5. Perform administrative tasks required for smooth running of the restaurant which includes but not limited to:
• Employees’ attendance
• Duty roster
• Employee recognition
• Teambuilding
• Reprimands whenever required
6. Ensure continuous compliance with company health, fire, safety, and hygiene policies
7. Control stock for daily use in the Gurkan Sef Steakhouse Operations and ensure that service requirements are met as per company standards.
8. Coordinate with Restaurant Manager to ensure accurate and timely food service and quality.
9. Develop and maintain good and positive relationships with local government authorities and municipalities for smooth operations
10. Follow and implement the formal training plans as set out by the management and implement on the job training sessions.
11. With the assistance of the accounts & finance department prepare the departmental annual budget and work to achieve the budget by monitoring and controlling the departmental operations, considering revenue and expenditure.
12. Design policy and procedure, which controls inventory order by kitchen staff to avoid overstocking and ensure FIFO procedures.
13. Prepare, monitor, and regularly update a complete Manning Plan/Budget for the kitchen department.
Education
Diploma in Business Administration preferably with a specialization in the Hotel/Restaurant industry
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position at a reputable food chain.
