JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the achievement of sales and profitability target of the Showroom including proper inventory management and display of merchandise based on standards; ensure quality products are available and well displayed in the showroom at all times. Implements promotional activities and evaluates its impact to showroom sales; initiates projects and activities that will help generate and improve the showroom sales performance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Key Areas)
1. Sales and Profitability
Ensures the attainment of the Showroom sales target based on the given budget set by the management.
Initiate projects and activities that will help generate or improve the showroom sales.
2. Operational Efficiency
Customer Service
- Ensure that all employees have been trained and oriented on the practice customer service standards.
- Attends to customer inquiries/feedback and complaints and provides immediate action and solution within showroom jurisdiction and level of authority. Report complicated issues to Area Showroom Supervisor.
- Monitor and ensure that Showroom complies with the speed, efficiency, and customer service standards set by the management.
- Ensure providing excellent after sales services and assist customers whenever necessary within the company’s policies.
Delivery and Installation
- Regularly check the items delivery response time to customer and ensure it’s within the standard delivery period.
- Monitor and check installation team productivity; ensure that installation team properly installed the items as per standard time.
- Regularly checks and evaluate customers feedback on installation and delivery timing and provide report to Area Showroom Supervisor.
- Evaluate delivery and installation team route and productivity.
Merchandise Display
- Ensure application of proper display of merchandise based on purchasing and visual merchandising standards and guidelines.
- Ensure that Showroom merchandise display are according to grouping, classification, designs, and with appropriate price tags, item labels and signage.
- Ensure that all Showroom section observes good housekeeping at all times.
Inventory Management
- Ensure product availability and maintain required inventory level of merchandise per classification, and designs.
- Monitors products or stocks defective and damages and report and send to Area Showroom Supervisor for proper action.
- Monitors slow moving and non - moving items and ensure to report with Area Showroom Supervisor for proper action.
- Coordinate with Area Showroom Supervisor product transfer and return request.
- Ensure 100% compliance to guidelines in receiving and handling of items at all times to avoid damages.
- Ensure that security and control measures are in place at all times to avoid lost items and other related incidents.
3. People Management
Conduct performance reviews to all staff in the showroom.
Ensure proper implementation of employee discipline and company rules to all employees.
Evaluates performance of probationary and existing employees according to the given schedule.
Identify employees potential and provide programs to ready the employee for future promotions
Evaluate employees who are not performing and recommend programs for improvement.
Plans regularly employee annual vacation and merit off to avoid hampering in the showroom operations.
4. Administration and Reports
Check Monthly Attendance through Basma Report.
Prepare and approve Overtime Report (if there’s any).
Review Customer Suggestion Card and provide solutions and action plans.
Prepare and submit Incentive report.
Conducts once a week showroom meeting to discuss Showroom weekly Sales Performance.
Follow up the needs of Employees with Head Office and ensure their needs are being answered. (i.e. vacations, vacation pay, Iqama renewals, etc.)
Ensure maintaining team work spirit in the showrooms and work on solving any issues related to team work.
Ensure to prepare monthly report and send it to Area Showroom Supervisor every end of the month.
5. Others
Perform other functions that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
A. Education and Experience
Bachelors/College Degree holder
With at least 2 years’ experience in the same field
Knowledgeable in Showroom Operations Management
Must be computer literate
