Work closely with business team, system administrators, and application developers to define and resolve information flow and content issues—-helping to transform business requirements into environment specific databases.
• Monitor and analyse performance metrics and allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance.
• Support multiple servers and multiple databases of medium to high complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of the data.
• Troubleshoot production, development, test databases issues and if applicable provide immediate solution
• Install new versions of oracle RDBMS and any related tools, Patches and creates new DB instances as required
• Path Assessment and application in EBS environment.
• Configure and troubleshoot issues related to workflow mailer.
• Controls migrations changes through the development life cycle.
• Plans and implements Security, backup and recovery of the Oracle database
• Monitor and Control all database objects, including schemas, table spaces, tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures

المهارات
BA/BS MIS/Computer Science degree is required.
• 2+ years of database experience in a leading-edge organization.
• Expert in database administration, Backup & Recovery, database monitoring, tuning, logical data modelling, and physical database development.
• Expert in installing, and maintaining Oracle EBS 12.1.3.
• Expert in Installing Patches (CPU, Security, Application), migrating reports and forms to production, creating Functions, Menus, Users and responsibilities.
• Extensive experience in database administration and development of Oracle relational databases is essential 11g and above.
• Expert in Unix shell scripting, Data Guard, with experience in Oracle solaris Servers, logical Domains and Solaris ZFS storage
• Expert in OEM 12, SQL performance tuning, JVM tuning, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Oracle Cluster Ready Services (CRS), Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Oracle WebLogic Server
• Understand the principles, theories, practices and techniques of project management.
• Strong written and communication skills are a must.
• Excellent decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills – Required.
• Fluency in English is required (written and verbal).
• Working knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio is desired.
• Oracle/DB certifications is highly preferred.
