• Managing and developing the facilities strategic plan.
• Oversee and agree contracts and providers for services including : kitchen equipment, grease traps, pest control, gas maintenance, kitchen equipment, display chillers , air conditions, firefighting, drain line getting, furniture cleaning , coffee machines maintenance, marble floor polish, kitchen hood and exhaust system cleaning, , cleaning and civil works.
• Direct and manage all schedules for preventive maintenance plans for all equipment and services making sure that the plan is followed.
• Consistently monitor and control the quality of performance.
• Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff including maintenance, contractors and service providers.
• Certify that all facilities across the Bateel portfolio are well-maintained.
• Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. To make sure that expenses do not exceed the budget. Responsible for reporting the monthly budget expenses
• Guarantee that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
• Provide guidance to the business on ways to improve energy efficiency and cost-efficiency.
• Support with new projects and refurbishments as and when required.
• Calculating and comparing costs for required goods, materials or services to achieve maximum value (Value engineering).
• Manage and lead ad hoc requests from the business to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
• Arrange and conduct health and safefy inspections across the portfolio to comply with local legislation.
• Inspect work carried out by 3rd parties to warrant completion and quality.
• Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate fulfilment or failure of agreed service levels.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies as they arise. To provide immediate and permanent solutions for tasks
