Facility MEP Engineer

On behalf of a Facilities Management company we are seeking a hands-on Facilities MEP Engineer. You will be based in Riyadh and will report to the MEP Engineer. You will responsible to ensure that services operation are running smooth, works are done with effective man power utilisation, activities are compliant with building regulations/ HSE requirements and tasks are carried out without full time supervision and direction.
• Implement the organisation FM policies, processes, templates, procedures and formats in order to improve the quality of building services practices.
• Implement health and safety regulations to avoid any hazard/ Risks arising from the work activities.
• Coordinate with all other works related to other entities (soft services, landscaping, security, or other contractor) to ensure works are executed smoothly
• Supervise and carry out repairs, maintenance and installation of all related equipment and installation (MEP and Civil Works).
• Complete monthly reports, PPM and reactive work orders safely and on time as schedule.
• Supervise works and be aware on the proper use of tools and equipment, materials and spare parts.
• Meet and coordinate with Client Managers on building issues.
• Liaise with service providers to carry out works and services as per AMC
• May be assigned to other developments as well from time to time.
• Customer Service oriented to meet all agreed KPI’s/ SLA’s & ensure that all PPM & reactive tasks are completed
• Assist in implementing Energy conservation program & suggest any value additions services which will be beneficial to client
• Must be flexible with work timings when & as required
• Compilation of energy management report & any other value addition works for the client
• Involve in snagging/ project take over/ DLP activities
• All MEP, Civil, Roof & Water proofing inspections to be carried out when and as required
• Attendance/ resolution of reactive calls as per agreed KPI’s / SLA’s
• Assist in new tendering activities
• Coordinate & implement CAFM, Quality Assurance & HSE procedures as per company guidelines

• Conduct the periodical internal status meeting (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.) to present the project status and agree on major and key milestone and ensure proper management of the project in order to deliver the project successfully.
• Sourcing reactive queries & generating additional business for the company
• Initiate Purchase orders/ request in line with company procurement guidelines
• Manage and maintain effective business relationships with service providers.
• Support in getting new business opportunities within existing and other areas
• Prepare and submit progress reports to top management that cover all project
• Activities including stock list of all materials available in store, important verbal communications, external visits, employment and equipment check and other related fields.

المهارات
• Bachelor’s degree in MEP, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
• Additional certifications like first Aider/ Fire Warden etc. would be an added advantage
• 3-5 years’ experience in managing a team of technicians
• Hands on experience in conducting maintenance activities
• Good level of knowledge relating to MS Office
• Building MEP / FM experience in the hotel industry or high end mixed commercial use and Residential Development operations in supervisory posit
