Position Description: The Renewable Energy Project Development Office (REPDO) is seeking a Commercial Analyst to work within the Project Pre-development Unit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support successful completion of projects up to their financial close as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Establish and maintain financial models for a portfolio of renewable energy projects up to their financial close.
• Conduct techno-economic analysis to assess project viability.
• Present and report business cases.
• Research, compile and report market data related to renewables.
• Benchmark project economics with market norms.
المهارات
• University degree (or equivalent) in engineering, science, economics or finance.
• Previous experience working overseas and, ideally, in the MENA and Saudi Arabia, in particular.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Track-record of supporting a multidisciplinary team, consultants and advisors to achieve the financial close of projects.
• At least five years of experience supporting the development of power projects and, ideally, renewable energy projects.
• Previous employment with an owner or sponsor, such as a utility, IPP, investor, owner’s finance advisor or developer.
• Establishing and managing project financial models for power projects.
• Drafting of project business cases and investment memos and presentations.
• Experience in the commercial and financial structuring of the projects up to their financial close.
