GIS Specialist

الوصف الوظيفي
The Renewable Energy Project Development Office (REPDO) is seeking a GIS Specialist to work within the Project Pre-development Unit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support successful completion of projects up to their financial close as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Manage, integrate, coordinate and present project land, geotechnical, hydrological, environmental and design data for a portfolio of renewable energy projects.
• Use GIS tools to identify potential project locations using road, grid, topography and renewable resource data.
• Producing standardize maps of project data and information.
• Establishing and maintain data management policies and procedures.
• Manage a consultant currently providing data management and drawing services to REPDO.

المهارات
• University degree (or equivalent) in engineering, science, economics or finance.
• Previous experience working overseas and, ideally, in the MENA and Saudi Arabia, in particular.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Track-record of supporting a multidisciplinary team, consultants and advisors with analysis, mapping, project data coordination and management, and the presentation of data.
• At least five years of experience supporting the development and management of infrastructure projects, ideally with some exposure to renewable energy projects.
• The proficient use of all leading GIS tools, ideally with some exposure to AutoCAD.
• Managing project data and facilitating its integration, coordination and presentation.
• Establishing and maintaining data management procedures and policies.
• Managing consultants and consultancy agreements.
