Pre-Sales Engineer - Technically works directly with customers in order to ensure that they understand how to configure and operate the equipment. Generally, works with the sales team to provide support, but can also be responsible for directly selling of services to potential clients.
المهارات
• Should hold bachelor’s degrees in computer science, network engineering, information systems or communication engineering.
• 8 years of industry experience, including five or more years in Pre-Sales engineering or consulting.
• Should have CCNA certification.
• Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to travel.
• Provide trusted technical advice and recommendations to customers and colleagues alike.
• Develop excellent working relationships with partner organizations to ensure effective collaboration in responding to customer needs.
• Act as the lead technical adviser to project teams, colleagues and customers providing specialist technical expertise of the highest level.
• Contribute to the development and deployment of new technologies to be added to NOVAsat portfolio, drawing on technical developments in own field to meet emerging customer requirements.
• A very thorough understanding of IP and optical network operations and network infrastructure design principles.
• Significant experience of network design, development and implementation.
• Ability to work independently within a fast-evolving technical environment.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skill.
• Perform onsite customer facing presentations, site surveys and or consulting.
• Partner with sales to identify prospect accounts and develop strategies to engage and win accounts.
• Prepare cost sheets and BOQ based on the customer requirements.
• Must have extensive knowledge of high-performance data center solutions, network infrastructure LAN/WAN, network security, and enterprise wireless infrastructures.
• Must have experience as a Pre-Sales engineer expert and will engage the sales force in pre-sales and post sales opportunities.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco Routers
• Expert knowledge of WAN Circuits, MPLS, TCP/IP, IPX.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting VLANs using CISCO equipment, to include intimate knowledge of Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN Trunking Protocol, inter-VLAN routing, IPV6 and trunking with ISL and 802.1q.
• Cisco Experience (MPLS, VPLS).
• Significant experience of network design, development and implementation.
• Engage directly with sales and account teams to support Pre-Sales activities.
