Sales Engineer- Water Network

AVK Saudi Valves Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (AVK SVMC) established in April 1985 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a part of The AVK Group, a privately owned industrial group that currently comprises of 77 companies. AVK s core business is the production of valves, hydrants and accessories for the water and gas distribution network, sewage treatment and fire protection. Furthermore, AVK has built up strong brands supplying valves and controls for water treatment, dams, reservoirs, HVAC, chemical processing, marine and other industrial sectors.
AVK SVMC has factory production site and sales office in Jeddah, KSA as well as sales offices in Riyadh and Al-Dammam.
AVK SVMC is producing a wide range of valves, fittings and fire hydrants according to BS, AWWA, and DIN and meeting other international standards and customer specifications.
The AVK Product range is approved by all major clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia such as Saudi Aramco, Water authorities, Royal Commission, Marafiq, SWCC, SABIC, Civil Defense, Ma’aden, National Water Company. Products produced at AVK SVMC are also exported to all GCC countries, Middle East, Europe, Asia and African.
We currently have an exciting opportunity as Sales Engineer Water Network, who will be supporting the Area Sales Managers achieving the Regions goals by managing the tasks that include but not limited to;
• Identify key stake holders in water authorities in the areas being defined by management.
• Establish and develop relations with key stake holders in water authorities through daily visits to the various water authorities branches and sites.
• Identify potential projects (new and maintenance).
• Identify potential projects (Real estate projects and stake holders).
• Prepare technical submittals, and secure qualification in projects
• Secure relevant approvals for AVK products in the projects.
• Identify and clarify project stakeholders and establish and maintain relations with these.
• Organize trainings for relevant water authorities staff with coordination with product management team:
• Understand requirements at operational sites (water and waste water).
• Coordinate with AVK Product management department to secure optimal product selection,
• Responsible for achieving unit sales and profit targets, on a monthly and annual basis, as established by the company.
• Overall responsible for securing orders, and secure delivery times, which is complying with AVK standard (and customers requirement).
• Responsible for securing payment and commercial terms in line with company policy. And securing invoices are paid on time by customers.
• Various assignments conform line manager or commercial director.

• Appropriate educational background (Marketing) or Mechanical Engineering
• Min 2 years as Sales in the same field.
• Experienced building customer relationships.
• Hold excellent communication skills (English / Arabic)
• Good working knowledge on MS Office applications
• Have strong interpersonal skills, and work well with all levels within the organizations.
• Effective selling and negotiation skills
• Have good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be a good team player
• Be self-driven and can work with minimal supervision
• Familiar with lead generation.
• Experience with people management
• Fluency in Arabic and English language
• Gender male
• Saudi national
