الوصف الوظيفي DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Abides by the medical Staff by laws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical staff and those specific to the department. - Uses clinical skills and methods appropriate to a primary care setting to analyze the patient’s complaints and establish a plan of action in his/her best interest. - Initiates investigations which will confirm, establish or rule out diagnosis, or be of benefit to the patient. - Refers patients for appropriate specialist opinion or treatment as deemed necessary for the patient. - Establishes a therapeutic relationship with patients/ families in an effort to promote compliance and shared participation in a caring environment. - Follows up those patients with on-going or chronic illness or when a therapeutic response requires evaluation. - Carries other clinical duties as assigned by the Chairman of Family Medicine and in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges. - Teaches staff assigned for training purposes, and participates with the Chairman of Family Medicine in planning a program of career development for trainees. - Participates in the improvement of quality patient care (Total Quality Management Program, Quality Assessment Improved Program), as applicable. - Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education. - Participates in and/or actively supports approved research projects and departmental CME. - Deputizes for his/her superior as required and shares workload during the absence of colleagues. - Strives to improve standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness. - Participate in the Major Disaster Plan of the hospital, as indicated. - Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned with the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/LICENSURE - Medical Graduate from a recognized medical school. - Recognized Assistant Consultant Certificate as per SCHS. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE - Some post qualification experience in Internal Medicine (5+ years) المهارات Fluent in verbal and written English.
