الوصف الوظيفي Perform all requested sonographic examination as ordered by the Obstetric consultant in consultation with Senior Ultra sonographer Review exam orders/requisitions/requests. Ensure proper Start/Complete of each procedure within RIS and/or HIS system(s). Greeting patient and assuring proper patient identification. Obtain the patient history. Explain procedure to patient. Select the appropriate equipment setting. Position the patient correctly. Maintain the highest quality scan while identifying the pathology. Provide a summary of findings and abnormalities to senior ultra-sonographer and the MFM consultant. Have a positive and professional attitude at all times with the patient and colleagues. Have knowledge about the ultrasound machines. Ensure patient confidentiality. Manage and ensure patient safety and comfort until patient leave the department. Respect patient and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture. Ensure the machine and the room is clean. Maintain a proper hand hygiene and follow all the procedure as regards infection control. Ensure the existing protocols, policies and procedures are being followed. Updates and implements scientific knowledge in ultrasound. Follow chain of command. Participates in self and other’s education, training and development, as applicable. Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team. Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture. Performs other related duties as assigned. Provide clear understandable information to patients that related to health.
