Sustainability Reporting Expert

Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

You will have at least 5 years of sustainability reporting experience, preferably in the energy industry.
You will be able to quickly establish credibility in the position and effectively interact with organizations within the company, including all levels of senior leadership.
You will have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
You will have the capability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
You should be able to meet tight deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Identify sustainability reporting requirements, hot topics, and industry best practices.
Review company’s sustainability policies, initiatives, and performance.
Analyze information received and compare it to disclosure requirements.
Prepare appropriate questions related to the information received and search out answers.
Clearly and concisely write narrative for the sustainability section of the annual report, ensuring the verbiage flows within the context of other sections of the report.
Create and maintain appropriate back-up documentation for the sustainability section to facilitate external auditors’ review.
Act as ERD’s champion for sustainability related topics.
Multitask with other analysts to ensure timely completion of the report.
Develop and maintain close relationship with various company organizations.
