Chemical Process Engineer

Job Description and Requirements
As a successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

You must have a minimum of 9 years’ experience, preferably in oil industry and at operating facilities.

You must have experience in performing process simulations and carrying out equipment sizing and performance calculations (e.g. Relief valve, control valves, heat exchanger performance).

You should have experience with troubleshooting and optimization.

You must have experience in process safety management systems and tools such as HAZOPs and MOC.

You should have the knowledge of industry standards (e.g. API) as well as best practices (RAGAGEP

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Provide technical guidance and field support for all process related issues in the plant.
Carry out detailed design reviews of plant modifications.
Carry out equipment/process assessment studies as well as feasibility studies to improve plant safety, reliability or efficiency.
Provide guidance, work direction and training to junior engineers in work techniques, methods and process equipment.
