Job Description and Requirements
Job Overview
Establish and maintain a HSEQ Management system to comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and requirements as per site instructions.

Reporting to: Project Director

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility as the HSEQ Manager to ensure that all HSEQ Policies, Procedures and Systems in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, OSHAS 18001 and the Company’s requirements are established implemented and maintained. Ensure that the Environmental Management System is maintained in accordance with requirement of the International Standard ISO 14001, the Company’s and all Saudi Law requirements. Ensures rapid effective response to incidents.
Responsible for the Safety of the entire Company’s operation and no breaches of Environmental Laws and a high Quality Performance Output that meets all the Company, HSEQ, KPI’s and Set Objectives.
Providing the Company’s Management with regular reports about the performance of the HSEQ Management Systems and suitable corrective actions and incident investigations for non-compliance/violations.
Interpret all the Company’s requirements and transcribe such into standard operating procedures, SOP’s and ensure that all HSEQ systems are audited at regular scheduled intervals and generate detailed audit reports with suitable corrective and preventative action where required.
Responsible for compliance audits to ensure PPM’s and all related planned activities are carried out, covering both soft and hard services, performed as per schedules and planned arrangements.
Reporting directly to the Project Director on the Performance of the Environmental Management System for the Management and all external entities regarding all Quality/ Environmental and Health and Safety Management related issues. Responsible for the Emergency and Disaster Evacuation Plan.
Ensure RA’s / JSA’s, SWMS, are conducted and ensure risk are mitigated, reduced or eliminated. Ensure regular TBT’s, H&S;inspections, investigations and handling of violations are effective. Provides guidance on Hazards and Risk Management.
Establish solid Communications with all HOD’s and fellow Managers and Departments, analyze HSEQ Data and compile detailed daily, weekly and monthly HSEQ reports.
Develop and conduct Quality/Environmental and Health and Safety Training Programs and train employees in the understanding of HSEQ system and principles as per the Company’s requirements.
Play a leading role in establishing a desired Quality Conscious/Safe and Healthy and Environmental friendly Culture within the auspices of the entire Project structure. Ensures safe working practices are established and carried out.
Conduct regular HSEQ meetings at all levels of the Operation as well as scheduled management review meetings to establish suitability and effectiveness of the entire HSEQ System.

Good Managerial skills, good communication skills, meticulous, disciplined, attention to detail and good document control skills.
HSEQ Project Management experience and skills,
Able to meet deadlines and targets.
Must be able to control and hold the HSEQ Team together.
Good reporting skills, experienced internal auditor and audit team leader.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechanical/ Electrical
Quality Management Diploma, NEBOSH IGC and IOSH Managing Safety Certification
At least 10 years’ experience in a HSE management position
Should have experience in Operations & Maintenance within Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Landscaping or Water
Open to Westerner nationals based in GCC now – male

Salary/Compensation

Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
Salary is between 20k – 25k SAR base per month
