Support and advise campaigns on communications strategy and execution,
including mentoring and coaching campaign staff
• Advise and train candidate on personal narrative and message, including
stump speech, press and media preparation, etc.
• Advise on paid communications strategy and messaging
• Assist in candidate recruitment, including vetting and research
• Help vet and recruit Communications staff for candidates
• Develop New Politics materials to help guide campaigns in communications
strategy and execution
• Work with local and regional press to shape campaign coverage and utilize
New Politics’ voice as a third-party validator as necessary
• Collaborate on projects and initiatives across New Politics, including digital
strategy and execution and New Politics Leadership Academy programming
such as Answering the Call
