Job Description and Requirements
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide technical support to the customers in OR’s
• Perform PM’s, remedial maintenance and provide necessary records to hospitals and Medtronic.
• Complete service reports.
• Develop strategies to raise consumables sales.
• Provide Sales team with potential leads for new products, opportunities, and customers.
• Handle documentation at new or existing installations.
• Coordinate, schedule, and conduct on-site customer installations.
• Conduct training to customers (physicians, technicians and nurses)
• Help and support ENT and TS’s colleagues to achieve unit and revenue goals
• Provide regional/area coverage that might stretch beyond working hours
•
Develop ethical, long-term customer relationships and represent
Medtronic management to customers – including the training and education
of both existing and competitive customers to gain incremental business
•
Ability and consistency in conducting structured field visits to the
assigned geography. Frequency of visits should be sufficient enough to
ensure market coverage whether in the cities or the peripheries.
• Actively looking for initiatives and execution tools that ensure and maximize the growth in therapy penetration.
•
Reports all account, market and competitive information and trends and
metrics in a comprehensive, complete and timely fashion.
• Reports
immediately and accurately all negative customer or product related
events (e.g., customer feedback, product and legal issues and risks
etc...).
• Prepare and necessary reports in a timely and diligent
manner, (i.e. Business reviews, inventory reports, stock movement forms
etc.) .
JOB QUALIFICATIONS •
A university degree in Medical, Biomedical Engineering, Natural
Science, Health Science, Further qualified degrees will be an asset. JOB EXPERIENCE
• 2-Year experience in a medical devices environment, in marketing and / or sales SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Knowledge of Cardiology and implantable devices
• Extensive knowledge of the industry with sound business sense.
• Effective skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and internet search engines.
• Basic understanding of statistics and statistical methods..
• Ability to effectively communicate with and train others.
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to discuss clinical and health economic information with regional and local opinion leaders.
• Ability to champion ethical and compliant behavior in the work space
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated Public Speaking ability.
• Native or Excellent command of English & Arabic

Travel Required: • Ability to travel 70& of time.
