Job Description and Requirements To manage and supervise the delivery of OJT within the regions, in accordance with the quality management system to ensure that KBR meets both internal and external requirements in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. This is to be achieved in accordance with the transformation plan as outlined in the current Scope of Services (SofS). Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: OJT Delivery · To manage the delivery of ‘structured’ OJT across the relevant regions at associated sites in accordance with the SofS · To manage the RTCs, to ensure delivery of regionally ‘structured’ OJT · Liaison with all regional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of ‘structured’ OJT · Be prepared to visit the regions to support RTCs in their delivery of ‘structured’ OJT · Develop and/or maintain relevant OJT documentation, including MIC workbooks · Be prepared to assist with regional Unit Equipment Testing Boards (UETBs) as required Reporting · Produce OJT reports, as directed by the TDM and Quality Assurance and Support Manager (QASM), for all training and OJT activity across the regions in a variety of formats · Produce statistical information, as directed by the TDM, on performance and compliance in accordance with the contractual requirements of the SofS · Ad-hoc reporting as required by regional stakeholders Office Administration · Advise the TDM on matters concerning OJT which contribute to achieving transformation objectives and assist long-term planning and change management · To manage and maintain overall OJT records for the local Military Customer’s manpower · Manage and maintain an efficient prioritised electronic filing system · General office administration duties as required Other duties as required by the TDM · To sustain and maintain good customer relationships through regular contact with the regional Military Customer’s (S3 Trg) and regional UK MoD LOs. · To support the RTCs in their liaison with regional KBR management and staff, and relevant subcontractor staff as required for the coordination of OJT · React to arising matters to accommodate emerging short-notice actions as directed by TDM · To provide leave and absence cover as required Recruitment Specification (Essential and Desirable) Essential to the role candidates must be able to provide as evidence or demonstrate through interview; Essential · Equivalent vocational qualification (Level NVQ 5) in a Communications Field · Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunications · Understand the application of a Systems Approach to Training (e.g. DSAT) · Understand instructional methodology, including the use of TEL · Preparing concise management reports in English · Designing and preparing spreadsheet solutions · Skilled in the use of MS Office software · Be fluent in Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening in the English Language · Hold a valid driving license from country of origin · Have an analytical and logical approach, be solution oriented and innovative in approach to problem solving · Ability to cultivate, build and maintain working relationships within a multinational environment · Have the highest level of personal and professional integrity · Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team · Be a self-starter and have excellent time management skills Desirable · Be able to communicate in the Arabic Language · A background in Telecommunications Training Delivery · Experience of working in the Middle East and experience of working within a military environment · Knowledge/understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace Level of Contact / Communications with others (internally/externally/meetings) Liaise with Scope of Services contract stakeholders as directed; Internal · Liaison with school KBR staff (High) · Liaison with regional KBR staff (High) External · Liaison with regional UK MoD staff (High) · Liaison with the regional Military Customers (High) · Liaison with the regional Military Customer’s S3s (High) Liaison with relevant regional subcontractors (High) Meetings · Regional meetings as directed (High) · Central meetings as directed (Medium) |
