Job Description and Requirements English Language Assessment · Administer test banks on behalf of ELT (including the LMS) utilising existing test banks for all KBR Communications School ELT to meet the four skill areas Listening, Speaking Reading and Writing in accordance with STANAG 6001 4 Level 2222 · Generate ELT assessments (including the LMS) according to the course assessment plans for use at the school and wider regions · Assist with maintaining current AStrat for ELT and be prepared to assist in the development of English Language Scalars, LSpecs and ASpecs as required · Ensure appropriate testing areas/rooms are made available to meet assessment requirements · Conduct all ELT e-learning assessments (if required) · Maintain a database of assessment results for ELT English Language Assessment (IELTS/OOPT) · Provide appropriate administration support to facilitate the delivery of specific ELT assessments in the school as directed · Ensure appropriate testing areas/rooms are made available to meet assessment requirements Validation · Ensure that the Communications School InVal meets set standards in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems · Deliver and maintain an InVal process to include a quality measurement · Deliver reports for InVal in accordance with the contractual requirements of ELT · Administer e-learning InVal questions for use in Technology Enhanced Learning environment · Assist with the implementation of quality measurement processes · Conduct relevant ‘End of Course’ Q&A;sessions with students in both Arabic and English, as required · Maintain a database of InVal results Recruit Selection Assessment (IBT) · Provide administration support to the MofNG SC for the delivery of selection assessments Reporting · Produce summary sheets of test results for all ELT Project English Language courses Produce summary sheets of InVal results for all ELT Project English Language courses · Assist the Training Analyst InVal in the formulation of relevant reports Office Administration · Maintain an efficient prioritised electronic filing system · General office administration duties · Maintain all documentation in accordance with Training Quality Data Protection guidelines Other duties as required by the QASM · Assist in the Invigilation of tests as directed · Assist in the marking of tests as directed · Assist with Internal Validation as directed · Provide leave and absences cover for the QAS Dept as required · Undertaking translation and interpretation as required Recruitment Specification (Essential and Desirable) Essential to the role candidates must be able to provide as evidence or demonstrate through interview; Essential · Statistical analysis and/or course design, examinations & assessment Level 2 or above · Minimum of two years office administration · Skilled in the use of MS Office software Word, Excel, Access and Project · Administering questions banks and assessment papers · Designing and preparing spreadsheet solutions · Preparing concise reports in English · Preparing management reports · Have the highest level of personal and professional integrity · Have an analytical and logical approach · Be a self starter · Have excellent time management skills · Be fluent in Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening in the English Language Desirable · Some experience with Technology Enhanced Learning and the use of e-learning/interactive learning solutions using multimedia content and appropriate software · Some experience of teaching delivery utilising a Learning Management System · Knowledge of the application of online learning in a student-centred environment · Hold a valid driving license from country of origin Level of Contact / Communications with others (internally / externally / meetings) Liaise with Scope of Services contract stakeholders as directed; Internal · KBR ‘School’ departments (High) · KBR Organisational departments (High) |
