• Installing, upgrade and maintaining of Oracle Database in a development, test, stage and production environments.
• Monitoring and maintaining customer production databases and perform regular administrative maintenance tasks on it.
• Incident Management, troubleshooting and resolving customer requests and problems.
• Available to provide 24X7 system support.
• Database Backup & Recovery using hot backup (tablespaces) and logical backup (export).
• Review and maintain OASIS database scripts.
• Tuning Production databases for better performance. Tuning SGA, Altering the database parameters.
• Keep database versions up to requirements and to correct any known security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 6+ years of extensive experience of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong knowledge and command of Linux/UNIX is a plus
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Good problem-solving skills
