Need to be prepared to manage the end-to-end supply chain for our products, services, deals and categories, lead a large team of category managers, buyers and commercial advisors, and add to the business bottom-line. Additionally, be on top of the following:
Working the Planning team to develop seasonal Sales budgets and delivery
Market research and analysis
Define sourcing strategy and implementation
Demand determination
Driving cross functional relationships with Marketing, IT, Finance and Merchandising teams
Identifying trending in-demand products, services, and experiences
Building and maintaining mutually-beneficial partnerships with merchants, manufacturers, suppliers and vendors
Negotiating commercial outcomes
Assisting with the development of marketing strategies
Ensuring timely import of products and stock management
المهارات
4+ years of experience in a highly commercial role such as a Senior Buyer, eCommerce Manager, or Category Manager in the retail (or similar) sector
University Degree in a relevant field (eCommerce, analytics, Business, IT, buying, etc)
Highly analytical and ready to dig into data. Be able to evaluate offers and products quickly to determine if they’re of value to our customers
Excellent commercial and business acumen to make key commercially savvy decisions
A strong negotiator who’s ready to fight for the best commercial outcomes so that we can offer market leading pricing to our customers
Experienced with Microsoft Excel (advanced features like VLOOKUP, Index Matching, pivot tables, formulas, macros, etc)
Tech savvy and ability to use various IT and cloud-based tools to improve efficiency and productivity
Ready to challenge, be challenged, and work within our highly disruptive business model
Experience in managing a large team of buyers, commercial advisors, sales representatives, or similar
