Organizational Responsibilities Follow all relevant software quality assurance policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Operational Responsibilities
Conduct the necessary day-to-day activities with minimal supervision to ensure continuity of work
Follow-up on escalated cases /issues/questions of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner
Engage with clients to understand objectives and conduct software quality assurance activities
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Lead quality assurance activities of software products against set standards
Implement strategy initiatives and CyTech’s approaches to software quality assurance
Implement corrective action in a timely and proper manner
Develop client documentation, including user and functional requirements as well as test plans and procedures to verify and validate the requirements
Perform tracking and reporting of software quality assurance results
Coordinate cross-functionally to accomplish assigned tasks
Prepare User Acceptance Testing Documents and any related Customer Forms.
People Management Responsibilities Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related technical discipline
Relevant certification in a related discipline is preferred
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a similar role
Intermediate proficiency in software quality assurance
Intermediate proficiency in software development activities
Intermediate proficiency in report writing
Intermediate proficiency in business acumen
Intermediate proficiency in team management
Basic Knowledge in one of these languages (Java – Python)
Good Knowledge in Automation tools (Jenkins – Selenium - Cucumber) for testing purposes
Capability of building a testing automation framework on application basis.
Good knowledge in Functional/Non-Functional Testing.
Familiar with Atlassian ALM tools.
Familiar with Agile Scrum
