الوصف الوظيفي
Duties and Responsibilities:  Responsible for the development, implementation and review of Department Policies and Procedures. Management and control of the day-to-day activities of the section. Raise/follow up spare parts purchase order when required. Responsible for the technical evaluation of old medical equipment and recommendations for hospital uses. Responsible for assessing the compatibility and safety of all new medical equipment and their implementation in the maintenance arrangement plan. Responsible for the technical specifications/evaluation and appraisal of new rejected medical equipment. Responsible for the establishment and implementation of a preventive maintenance schedule. Analyze cost/work schedules, set priorities and expedite operations and repairs. Responsible for the preparation/approval of personnel evaluations/actions within the Biomedical Engineering Section. Supervise and coordinate all Maintenance Service Contracts that cover Biomedical Equipment by outside contracts such as X-ray, Radiation Therapy, Laboratory Chemical analyzer and cell counter, etc… Participate on safety procurement and other committees as required. Controlling performance of Maintenance Contractors. Preparation of Monthly reports and monthly on-call duty schedule. Conduct all monitoring activities in an efficient and timely manner. Develop all documentation, reports and memorandums accurately to the point and correct. Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities in all sites belonging to the Armed Forces Hospitals-Taif Region as required by the chief facility engineer .
المهارات
Wide knowledge of biomedical equipment Working of installation and maintenance of medical equipment. Knowledge of electrical safety environment. Able to use microsoft office program. Proficiency in English (read, write and speak) and Arabic language.
