· Identify market potential by surveying market restaurant demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors and potential global brands; preparing financial, market, and sales projections, analyses, and estimates.
· Developing annual business plans, presenting them to the board for approval, then insuring that all financial and operational objectives are met and exceeded.
· developing and preparing strategic and annual forecasts and budgets; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; establishing and monitoring financial controls; developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
· Providing shareholders with monthly in-house financials.
· Insuring that the company has strong and sufficient systems, policies and procedures in place including Finance, HR, IT, Operations, etc.
· Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
· Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred patrons.
· Accomplishes company human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions as approved by the board; enforcing policies and procedures.
· Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
· Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Liaises with multiple Franchisors and JV’s and manages the relationship.
· Oversee the performance of all brands operating under the company to insure that they are in compliance with all local laws & regulations, operational & financial standards, etc.
· Oversee and coordinate directly will all related parties to insure that the company’s growth plans are met in a timely manner.
· Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the business to insure that all objectives are met to the satisfaction of the board and shareholders.

General Manager Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree, and at least 7 years in restaurant industry with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
