Design Review, Technical evaluation, Value engineering
KEY DUTIES
Leading the Mechanical Design, realization and test of a new product, system, subsystem and component, understands and communicates consequences of the design on the architecture.
Reviewing the required design specifications, schematics, and drawings and writes comments and protocols for the developed modules or components.
Creates a personal schedule and reports on progress to the project leader in a structured and methodical way.
Review of Mechanical systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, VT, Pools & Water Features, Fuel System) concept design in relation with budget constraints.
Review of schematic and detail drawings for construct ability and value engineering and ensuring the designer meeting the specifications, local and international standards.
Workshops with Designers, Operators)
Coordination with other disciplines.
Pre Tendering Documents Review (BOQ, Specs).
Commenting on Tender Queries.
Technical Evaluation & Value engineering.
Material, subcontractor review and approval.
Testing and commissioning Audit.
Site inspections for quality checks, preparing the scope of work, attending the meetings with contractors and final handing over process.
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 6+ years experience
1 years experience in Lead/ Senior level role
Prepare mechanical designs for large scale residential/ hotel real-estate projects.
Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
Supervise and direct a team of engineers, designers and support personnel.
Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients.
Hospitality background preferred, with some experience handling hotel engineering
Open to male Saudi national currently based in KSA now
