1. Report directly to Sales Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Listening to customer requirements and presenting company service appropriately to make a sale.
2. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
3. Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
4. Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
5. Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
6. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
7. Gathering market and customer information.
8. Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
9. Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with client and managers;
10. Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to acquire the service.
11. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
12. Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.
13. Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system.
14. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
15. Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements.
16. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
17. Establish and update operating procedures to meet customer’s satisfaction to avoid complaints/call back.
18. Ensure to comply existing procedures/workflow of the department and the company and truly understand the Company objectives, policies and goals.
19. Discuss and pass on to the Department Manager relevant information with regard to both the general goodwill department and operational information of the Department.
20. Prepare and submit reports as per established schedules and procedures and constantly report progress of the Department.
