We need our BIM Coordinator at this level to provide technical guidance to project design team in completing the most complex and difficult designs and layouts for complete systems and components of a project. In this role you will serve as Lead Designer for all phases of a project. Provide technical guidance to project design and drafting personnel, and functions as liaison with client, suppliers, and contractors regarding design issues.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates execution of work assignments with respect to design approach, schedules, standards, budgets, and procedures to meet client scope of work requirements. Provides manpower estimates as required.
Provides technical guidance to project design team in completing the most complex and difficult designs and layouts for complete systems and components of a project.
Assignments typically involve design elements for which there may be no clearly established precedents and require anticipation of problems at the outset in order to provide appropriate solutions.
Ensures compliance with required specifications, tolerances, safety factors, and industry codes, as well as client requirements and company standards.
Performs specialized design computations and analysis within a given discipline.
Performs interdisciplinary reviews and provides coordination of data to ensure a compatible design.
Provides direction to a team of checking personnel, ensuring the mathematical accuracy of the drawings produced.
Participates in checking orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others.
Understands and applies commonly used company design standards and methods.
Provides input to the establishment or revision of guidelines and standards.
Collaborates with Engineers and other engineering disciplines to ensure quality of design.
Reviews supplier data and supplier/manufacturer drawings, as required.
May train lower level Designers in various procedures.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architecture or Engineering.
10 years of relevant experience.
Strong PC, BIM and CAD skills, as well as efficiency in utilizing computer software to complete design assignments.
Requires the ability to perform in a lead capacity on a project.
