This new development in the western district of Riyadh, KSA is expected to become a center for history, heritage and culture at regional and national scale. The project will be a mixed-use real estate development with multiple Work Packages over an area of 7 sq km, with history and heritage assets at its core, enriched by entertainment, shopping, and residential elements. Parsons will be providing Infrastructure PMC on this project. The infrastructure works will include, but not limited to, bulk excavations, roads and highways modifications, road tunnels, wet and dry utilities, etc.
ROLE SUMMARY
Provides expertise and technical assistance to site management in ensuring that the implementation of ESHARP and SH&E;processes are in accordance with the Corporate guidelines. Monitors project safety performance and conducts project audits and safety inspections. Provides motivation and familiarization of all project personnel respecting the importance of complying with the company system procedures and all safety equipment provided.
Role and Responsibilities
Participates in the development and implementation of design office and project safety plans.
Assigns and provides technical supervision of safety performance, qualifications and programs.
Reviews contractors on bid list with regards to safety performance, qualifications and programs.
Conducts safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections of various offices and projects in compliance with ESHARP Management.
Participates with labor relations representatives in pre-job conferences to present the company safety policy and explain implementation on the project.
Assists the Workers’ Compensation Analyst in coordinating medical care and case management of employees injured at company facilities.
Reviews loss control reports from company insurance carriers and regulatory inspection agencies and confers with appropriate management representatives on compliance with regulations and citations.
Represents the company at national safety conferences.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree
IOSH or equivalent, NEBOSH, national diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
15 years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety, including supervisory experience. 10 years of which should be in similar infrastructure projects. 5 years experience within Saudi or other GCC countries.
Experience in tunneling, hazardous waste and knowledge of local Saudi regulations.
Ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity is also required.
Professional certification preferred.
