Creating a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish (for example, salmon, tuna, unagi, Caviar, Hamour, Eel Nigiri)
Preparing all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi
Add additional flavors to sushi rolls with ginger, rice vinegar, wasabi and soy sauce, when
appropriate.
Manage food preparation activities like Sushi Salad, Gyoza, Rice Bowls and Japanese Soups.
Coordinate with our wait staff to ensure proper cooking, considering special requests and food allergies.
Monitor food stock and place orders, as needed
Good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques.
Ability to work both fast and accurately in the front the customers.
Inventory and cost control.
Can work under pressure.
Can follow the company rules and regulations.
Ensure that all food is creatively and attractively presented at all times
Maintain cleanliness and follow strict hygiene and sanitation practices.
Trains new staffs in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
Manage time efficiently.
A keen eye on details.
المهارات
should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and previous experiences in quality establishments along with good culinary skills. The ability to communicate well in English and a proven track of food preparation, presentation and preservation knowledge is an essential.
