مقارنة الأداء الحقيقي للمعدات والعمال بالأداء المخطط له وإعلام المقاول إذا كان هناك إنحراف ليتم تصحيحه حتى لا يحدث تأخير بالمشروع
مقارنة المبلغ المرصود لكل نشاط حسب المخطط له بالمبلغ الحقيقي المصروف عليه ، وفي حالة وجود زيادة عن المصروف المخطط له فيتم التنبيه إلى ذلك لضبط التكاليف لذلك النشاط حتى لا تزيد قيمة المشروع
ضبط قيمة أعمال المقاولين من الباطن بأن لا تزيد عن قيمة عقودهم حتى لا تزيد قيمة المشروع
ضبط الكميات المنفذة على الطبيعة بأن لا تزيد عن الكميات بجداول الكميات حتى لا تزيد قيمة المشروع
في حالة وجود تحسين بالأداء فإن ذلك يؤخذ كمقياس مستقبلا لتقليل أسعار المشاريع بالمنافسات اللاحقة
To compare the actual performance with the planned one and to inform the contractor of any deviation to enable him to take corrective action for avoiding any delay.
To compare the planned budget with the actual cost of each activity and to inform his manager in case the actual cost exceeds the planned budget, in order not to exceed the budget quantity, project value.
To control each subcontractor’s amount of work in order not to exceed the value of its subcontractor.
To control the actual executed quantities in order not to increase the project value.
To devise plans for reducing the project prices in the succeeding tenders in case of any improvement in the performance of executed works.

Authorities:
Authority to perform all instructions from his superior (Head of Department).
Practices the technical control on all the work to be performed
Practices the administrative control on all the work to be performed (all works to be approved by the projects managers)
Coordinates with projects managers regarding the cost control requirements. (Providing the date about the progress and about any deviations).
Compares the actual work performance against the planned.
Compares the actual productivity, against the planned
Compares the budget cost for each activity against the actual
To inform the cost control manages about any deviation in early stage to rectify that deviation.
Controls the subcontractor’s contracts in order not to increase the project value
Controls the executed quantities in order not to exceed the contract quantities
To guide the tendering manager in case there is improvement in productivity compared to the study in order to consider this in the future tendering studies.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor degree (B.S) in civil Engineering from accredited university.
Minimum experience 7 years in the same field in construction companies of grade (1002) classifications as per low for contractor’s classifications.
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of codes.
Knowledge of estimating & costing methods & techniques.
Knowledge of Modern principles and practices in Civil Engineering (Cost control technique).
Analyze & resolves problems.
Review the work of technical personnel.
Read, understand & analyze and write reports.
Interpersonal and communications skills.
Ability to identify and implement technology that increases productivity and efficiency.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts to lost control works.
Advance computer skills.
Extensive software skills.
Work processing skills.
Internet research abilities.
Provide support, coordination and administration services.
Dynamic, flexible and enthusiastic.
Ability to read, write & speak Arabic & English language fluently.
Ability to effectively present information & respond to questions from group of managers & other personals related to his work.
