Performs routine radiological examinations according to established policies and procedures.
Performs specialist radiological procedures under supervision of senior trained staff. Undertakes training in those procedures as required by the department.
Ensures that patients and staff are protected from unnecessary hazards due to radiation.
Participates in the departmental rota, including working single-handed on-call outside normal working.
Maintains up to date knowledge of current developments and new radiology techniques.
