Electrical Design Engineer - Interior Fit-out

• Detail engineering with a safety factor in the design
• Design for illumination of different areas and lux
calculations
• Cable size calculation cable scheduling and its route
selection, overhead or underground
• Proper protection system for all electrical installation
• Design for fire alarm & detection system
• Implementations and monitoring of all electrical related
works at the site
• Estimates prepare and assign resources such as
manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools,
etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to
execution
• Coordinates with Client / Consultant’s representatives
for any site instructions and inspection of works
• Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets
are met on a daily basis for all electrical groups at site
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests,
estimates, and all applicable monitoring reports on a
regular basis or as required
• Supports the Project Manager in accomplishing all the
goals and targets for the electrical groups at site
• Ensures that all the works are done are in accordance
with the approved construction drawings, contract
documents, project specifications, and all applicable
standards whether local, national, or international
standards
• To co-ordinate with Electrical Contractor for
Electrification, Execution, Erection & Commissioning
• Final Documentation & Billing Works
• Ensure the power supply available. Save energy by
disconnecting unwanted loads
• Ensure all electrical machines should be earthed,
because in construction mostly related to steel
structures, if any
• Coordination with workers
• Manpower Controlling
• Review inspection reports and records of Quality Control
carried out on completed and running Project activities
• Keeps equipment operational by following
manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures;
requesting repair service
• Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and
equipment
• Supervise and train project team members as necessary

Desired Candidate Profile
Applicant Profile:
• Indian National, command of Arabic language will be an advantage

Expected Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Expected Experience:
• 8-10 years in Electrical Engineering in Fit out project with extensive
experience in electrical designing
in GCC, KSA experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, HAP and Planswift

Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
• Retail and F&B;fit out experience
• Experience in dealing with MEP subcontractors
• Excellent understanding of all electrical and low-voltage systems
• General understanding of Building and Electrical Codes and Authority
Submissions as they relate to the construction of the project
• Knowledge of construction supervision services
