Roles and Responsibility Change Management
Lead the team through the change to ensure project objectives are met at the earliest with no disruption
Apply a structured methodology and lead Change management activities for infrastructure, system, and application projects
Apply Change management process and tools to create a strategy to support the adoption of the changes required by a projects Support
The design, development, delivery, and management of Change communications
Complete change management assessments And engage with Projects, Tower Leads, and Change Managers
Track and report issues
Manage the change facilitator portfolio
Stakeholder Reporting
Ensure all changes are consistent with business and technical plans and strategies
Understand the change and prioritize the Changes based on the Impact and Urgency.
Involved in implementing a change request and presenting a consolidated plan reflecting each group’s tasks
Ensure that all preparations have been made for all CAB meetings, including creating of agenda, circulation of change requests to be considered, and inviting participants
Ensure that all the Build &Test;tasks are completed before passing the change to the Pre-CAB stage.
Accountable for changes, primarily from a technical and security perspective, either independently or together with CAB obtaining authorization from a technical, Security, Service Owner, and Business Owner.
Attends pre-CAB, CAB meetings, and the BAU Change meetings to provide information and status on IT change(s).
Monitor the SLA of each stage of the process and get justification for any SLA breach and Ensuring that all deployed changes are closed.
Reviews the changelog for progress that occurs, including any actions to correct problems and/or to take opportunities to improve service quality.
Review the Success / Failure criteria of Change
Provide accurate and timely information about all changes.
Responsible for ensuring any Change reporting such as System Impact analysis, Post implement reports, weekly and monthly dashboards
Time Management for Deployments for after office hours and weekends.
To ensure the defined Change and Configuration Management processes and procedures are adhered to by staff carrying out their Change tasks.
Analyze complex information and highlight risk areas specific to business units
Assist the Change Manager in conflict resolution and decision making
Roles & Responsibilities As Release Manager
Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio
Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
Weekly Release Reporting
Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensures alignment across key partners and vendors.
Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
2-6 years of previous Change and release and/or project management experience,
Overall 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems
analysis or development
ITIL certified
Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
